Snowpocalypse, Round Two is upon us. Maintaining adequate staffing was so difficult the last go 'round that the hospital was proactive about setting up overnight accomodations for staff this time. Huh. Apparently there is a slash con in KC weekend after next. And it's not entirely anime. I saw some HP and Who as well as several costuming, lgbt and even rope bondage panels. I think I should go. Hell, I should really see if they need panelists.

Perhaps I should clarify. By "It's alive!" what I really mean is that my laptop is on a ventilator in the ICU. Wheher or not it ultimately survives it's tragic spilt coffee accident is yet to be seen.

Well now that I spent the whole night watching Sherlock from the beginning when will there be more and is it on regular tv now.

I just got that email FROM MY MOTHER! At one o'clock in the morning. My mom is almost always asleep by ten.

Have been productive lately. It's nice. Over the holiday weekend it was a Regency petticoat in addition to other smaller projects and this last weekend it was an early Victorian(ish) hoopskirt made from garden hose and bed sheets with a petticoat to match.

Mmm... I'm making spicy brownies for the meetup tonight - cayenne pepper, cinnamon and sweet paprika. They're baking now and my kitchen smells fucking amazing. :D
